SOMETIMES PEOPLE NEED MORE INFORMATION

 

A few people have approached me with concerns. In this day and age, there are a lot of people who, unfortunately, ask for money and make up their situation. Many do not know me personally, or they may simply know me through various forums or other online interests. I can understand that it can be scary handing money over to someone. 

 

I have tried to help to reduce such anxiety by giving as much information as possible about Smart Pups, and their organisation, as well as pointing to ways to pay directly through to them. In reality, I far prefer the money would go directly to them (with a note stating it is for Stirling!) than to receive the money personally. That way you know it is safely aside for the express purpose you donated it for, and I know that it has arrived, safe and sound, and Stirling will be one step closer to getting his Smart Pup! 

 

Another way I can hopefully reduce this concern is by providing a link to the letter of authorisation that was sent to me when Stirling was first accepted to receive a Smart Pup. It has contact details for Smart Pups themselves, and the organisation can be looked up separately and approached through information gained through online searches, rather than through me, if you so choose. 

 

My only interest is to find a way to help my children. Please, feel free to contact either myself, or Smart Pups, about any concerns you have. It is in my best interest to make sure that any fears or concerns you may have will be addressed properly, and promptly.
